#201492 I didn't think anyone still ran Haltech. Especially on a Honda.

Honda didn't have an actual crank trigger until 1996. Before that the ECU inferred the crank position by using a sensor in the distributor. If you can alter the settings in your software, you could use that. But on the version of the Haltech that I was using in 99-00 you couldn't. Plus there was a whole mess of problems with the other sensors as well. As soon as the AEM EMS came out, we ditched the Haltech.

There are kits that consist of magnets or a tooth wheel that you have to attach to the crank pulley and a hall effect sensor that you mount nearby. It's not very reliable to do it this way IMO. I would suggest getting an OBD2 motor or getting an AEM EMS.

#201784 There is no OEM trigger wheel. It's a sensor built into the oil pump. I don't know the exact details of it because I've never had a reason to take it apart or look it up in the Helms.

You can just as easily type "crank trigger kit" into a search box as anyone else. Ever heard of Google? Summit Racing?

#201977 Really you searched?

You'll spend more on aftermarket sensors that are compatible with Haltech and more on tuning time than you would have if you just bought an EMS. I ran that system, I dealt with their customer service. I truly hate Haltech. Good luck to you.
