PLEASE HELP. im having some issues that i cant figure out . my car will fire but will not stay running . the crapy thing is the engine light wont come on .oddly enough i have spark and fuel

so ive tried turning the distributer to different posistion and it hasn'nt made it any better. i m not sure what wire i may have messed up but i did my wire tuck but all the connectors are matched up how they should be so im still at a lose .

so i went and baught a few new fatter ground straps and that aslo has not helped. so there is a sensor that is on the passenger side of the engine just next to the thermostat houseing . is this the one that runs to the ecu and would it not start if it wasn't hookd up?. theres also one single small wire that is pluged into the block next to it what is this and do i neeed it (it is pluged in just verifying its need )..

Did you use a jumper wire to connect the underdash plugs. it probally wont change it if you dont jump those connections. the computer will automatically change the ignition timing. did you check to make sure the timing belt if not off some teeth?

so i will post pics as soon as i can (few days at most) but the two senors im talking about are just below the ditributer and in the head . a single yellow with a green stipe , then theres one next to it that im not sure what the colors shuold be cause i may have gotten them confused . oh yeah its a d16z6 aswell . thanks for the help guys ive been trying to read as many post as i can to see if i could contribute some help to others but im just not that advanced on these cars as ide like to be .

what about the main relay? maybe the fuel pump primes but then nothing... just a thought

i was thinking that to but i just replaced it about a year ago. i do have fuel getting to the rail and my injectors are in the right order so im not thinking thats it. i actualy had some nice weather here so i pulled it out of the garage an found that my iacv and my evap purge control solenoid valve connnetors where crossed so hopefully that will help things a little but now im waiting to get my 1/4" ratchet back from a friend so i can rebuild my starter cause i over heated it and messed up my contact points .

ok so starter is rebuilt now. still doing the same thing .i was thinking could it have anythinng to do with acc. or the run position on the ignition switch and what wires would those be and what are they called?
also what is an electronic load detectors job and where is it? thanks for any and all the help guys
