#91472 ok so i've been reading this whole entire thread about slamming the car, rolling the fender keeping the camber kit and everything.....my question is ok i have a 2" drop on my car right now and my tires rub sometimes ...... if i go farther my wheels look as if they would rest right underneath my fender as if the body sat on them

how do you get the tires tucked behind the fender?
and if you keep the camber kit then if your tires are straight then do you let a little bit of camber set into play or can you keep em straight and still do it

and finally my tires are 16x7 i not sure what the offset is and not sure how to find out or measure?

pics if that helps explain it

#91496 Tucking on 16s is harder than 15s. I dont use a camber kit at all, and I can slam mine with no problems. Just remember, the lower you go the more of a chance you have of your upper control arm slamming into your shock tower and busting a hole through it.

#91521 I think the 16x7 is too wide for the car, I got 16x6.5 on mine right now. It rubs but it's because I have the wrong tire profile (205/50/16), I have new tires which are 205/40/16's.

What's your tire profile? Maybe that can help you a little bit.

With a good alignment, in which the toe is set propperly, negative camber wont be a problem.

#91785 Hmm.. That's about the profile that I have, but maybe your wheel is too wide? :? I'm not sure about it, but do you have your fenders rolled already?

#91795 could stretch your tires "jdm stylee" to get that little bit of extra room, bit like dub boys do when they slam their cars?
