1. b20 block
2. supertech forged pistons 84.5 and 13.5 compression.
3. r/c fuel injectors
4. hondata s300
5. b16 head, ported polished, skunk2 pro stage 2 cams, s2 valves, s2 retainers, s2 springs.
6. gsr oil pump.
7. golden eagle ls/b20 vtec conversion kit.
8. block guard
9. sleeved.
10. b16 tranny
11. harness
12. axles.
13. intake manifold.
14. headers.


now thats all i have so far, i need to know what else i will need?
do i need a b16/b18 gurdle?

Are you putting a block guard or you sleeved your block?

And when you bought the golden eagle b20/v conversion it came with the head guasket right?
If not then you need a head guasket too.

#83064 13.5:1.....are you fucking nuts? Thats a bit high. You could run into valve clearance issues. Im going to be just under 13:1 and am worried about it.

You might want to lower the compression to 11.5-12.5:1. better range. Its been proven that you can make lots of power on 11.5:1.

As far as the block guard and sleeving, you just need sleeving. or just get a block guard. cant do both.

You are going to need all new bearings and seals for the motor, All the lil gaskets and shit as well. Timing belt, tensioner.

Unless you really know what you are doing, I would suggest against this motor. its isnt for the first time builder.

and no this is not my first motor build.


yeah i know 13.5 is a bit high and risky. im not worried. i have a b16 head thats been cut on the side, and just test valve clearence with that, throw it on my bottom end once its assembles. and make sure its all good.


i considered going 13.1 compression. but who knows. i am going to stick with 13.5

1. your fucking crazy and will never run your car on pump gas with that compression and have fun with detonation.


2. make sure while its all apart for 49 bucks you can get your self some ARP rod studs (i saw you didnt get that.) ARP is 10 times proven strogner then OEM. Have your rods resized for the ARP studs a machine shop can do that.

and last but not least have your VTEC head shaved about 20-25 thousands of an ich that will bump your compression about half a point. (little trick not many ppl think of)
