#82631 I think you would be doing pretty well if you sold it for $2000, but like you said you dont really need the money.

If the rear quarters weren't rusty then I would say no way but that's a lot of work

#82636 yah i hear you but i wasn't bought to be driving it anytime soon, i'm capabile off welding in the fenders etc, so it's more of a project car then anything else

#82646 to tell you the truth i would probaly sell it for the 2k cash i mean yea I love hatches i will never sell my little cx but the thing is it looks like it was in a accident or something in the rear d.side corner. plus for 2k you could get yourself another really nice civic hatch with no rust and yea you might not be able to get a B engine in it but at least youll have a nice shell to work with and you wont be cooped up for ever battling rust which if theres rust in the quarters theres bound to be rust under the rockers.....which you could take that time that you would be spending there n spend it with your family i mean if i was you i wouldnt keep it if i got offered 2k for it i mean its a nice car n all but needs alot of work and if you have a 05 truck that will be fine for now until you come across something better. i mean your going to spend a crap load of money on the car to fix it and probaly will only increase the value a little bit more than 2k since most of the eg's unless really done nicely dont ever really go over the 2k mark at least ones ive seen....

Also unless it has the rare gathers interior i would get rid of it if it has that interior where everything folds flat in the back id say f-it and work on the car but thats just me i mean for 2k you can get a cleaner shell with no problems and probaly rear disc brakes as well as some options probaly.....and for a little more throw in a B16a engine or turbo a D motor and still have some cash left over. So all n all unless it has the rare gathers interior id sell it thats just my 2cents

I am considering to sell my civic after i smog it... dont get me wrong i love my hatchback... but i've been dying to get a e36 bmw 325is .... maybe sell it and save up for something else faster? something for the family? imo..

#82672 looks like the rear glass is cracked too or is that a reflection? If you are planning on a long term project vehicle then I would start with a clean foundation. :thumb:

The drivers rear corner looks a little scary, more than just welding in a new arch panel. Plus who knows how bad the rust is on the inside where you can't see. A lot of water could have been getting through from the damaged area. To get this car in good condition again, you will need a good amount of time and $$$.

The B16 is nice yeah, but I think that is the highlight of the car. The ls rims are nice too.

#82708 Push for $2500, but take 2200. Then use the money to buy an even better project car. Like a clean EG or even an Integra.

#82709 the rear glass is not cracked, lol, see what happened to the car is that my buddy forgot to set the park brake one day at work and it rolled down a hill hitting a hydro box. i really haven't checked out the damage yet. my wife's uncle is a body man so if i don't do it i can get it done from a professional for pretty cheap. here in northern Ontario, most of the eg's are all rotted out and this isnt that bad, but bad enough. so i still have no clue what to do, thx for all the help.

hehehe that sounds great, i'm going to see what he'll pay without the rims, i love them and he does not care for them and plans to get a different set anyways

i'm not a fan of integra's dont know why they just are not appealing to me, thx though
