what ecu?!

- Sun Dec 07, 2008 8:54 am #82417 hey i swapped a jdm b16a into my 1993 civic cx and dont knwo what ecu to use. some people told me a chipped p28 and some people told me virgin p30?? what about a true jdm pr3 ecu with a od0-obd1 harness? tell me wich one is my best bet??

you can use a chipped p28 if it has the right maps on it
i'm useing a chipped p06

the P06 can be chipped and then it can be whatever you want it to be :thumb:

- Fri Dec 12, 2008 1:58 am #83219 Get a chipped P28, you can put what ever program you want, and if you want you can even tune the car with it.
If you get a P06 is good too, but you have to not only chip it but you have to convert it to a vtec ecu.

Chipped p28 is your best bet.
