#77357 any turbo can fit, you'll need a manifold built.

A T25 is a great turbo for SOHC 1.6 motors and won't take too long to spool :thumb:

Not sure how much the rebuild will cost, but if your turbo needs to be rebuilt than definitely do not avoid doing it now instead of running a bad turbo. That will only be more of a headache down the road.

#77365 normally if you do it yourself it wont cost you alot to replace all the seals and stuff like that just make sure though that the fins are not broken or chipped this would result in something bad happening if you ran it like that and i think those are one of the more expensive things you would have to buy .....

And I am gonna agree with teal dx if it needs to be rebuilt do it

I am going to be running a T25 on my 1.6 though i decided against using my z6 since its getting alittle finiky i am using a DOHC ZC motor but yea the T25 is great numerous cars have them i got mine from a DSM 2nd gen This turbo is good for quick spooling as well as a safe range of boost they are good i think until 12psi or so maybe a little less but none the less safe to run on a good motor

#77385 where would i get pieces like fins and stuff to rebuild it? if i did it myself how much am i looking at? is this complicated to do?

#77422 It's not like a jet turbine where you replace individual fins on each rotor.

You have to get whole new turbine/compressor wheels if they're damaged..

#77458 Now I have not really checked on the wheels but preferably i would say no to a turbo that has them damaged since if they are damaged there could be alot more wrong with it than just gaskets and sheilds and other things like that....

But a T25 rebuild kit is anywhere from
ebay cheap price $30 shipped to about 70 and some are even at 104 the prices are across the board but id just go and get the $70 one and call it a day but yea you basically need to rebuild it yourself some basic tools a large surface area works best then you can lay the parts out as you take them apart.....and it should not take you long tops a day but with me since i like my stuff cleaned out alot and im also lazy its gonna probaly take me about 3-4days with work.

And as long as you take your time its not complicated at all and if you hit a snag just ask
