I found this forum through google, when I was looking for pictures of headlight housings.
I have a 1993 Civic Coupe EX M/T, bought new back in November of 1992. The first person I knew of to have a Coupe in my area. Of course I got all these looks, especially because the color I have is the Aztec Green Pearl. Black was not an option for me, because in 1993, they came with the tan interior.
More specifically, the car was designated an EX-O by the dealer. The "O" stood for option I think, because only the driver-side airbag was standard back that year. To get the front passenger side airbag, you had to get the stereo system as well, by Acoustic Research. Supposedly the deck OEM was Alpine, and with the door mounted tweets, probably explains why it sounded decent. The deck played tapes a little fast, but that's cool. Dual-airbags became standard in 1994. And finally a Black interior/exterior!
Fast-forward 15 years. I have 178K miles on it. Just replaced the original clutch less than 15K miles ago. All the major things on my car I installed myself. It's been all the way up and down the western seaboard, and I've taken it to the track at Thunderhill. Replacing the headlights that were stolen (I f-ckin hate car thieves), and I'm probably gonna install them next weekend. I love this car, and I'll probably never get rid of it.
I'm diggin the idea of a board specifically for this model.
