#61294 you gotta give us more info than that...

What is your budget?
What will you be using the car for?
How much power do you want to make?
N/A, Boost, Nitous?

I should put that in the FAQ

#61296 this is a on the side build. I am going to wanna boost yet keep it as a daily driver. 300hp range or around there but i want to do this right the first time and keep it clean. its going take me a while to build so i would have to save up for parts anywayz.

#61344 Well id definately start off with getting a head so you sorta have a complete motor to work on this way you can start DIY'in the ports on the head(doing a port and polish) while saving $$ for your block and other things.

But first things first do you have a Crankshaft? not totally sure but the stocker should do ok but I would save up for a aftermarket one not totally sure on qualities of other places of coarse since ive never tried looking up crank shafts pretty much for me im staying N/a but yea after you find that

Get Eagle rods and pistons (well known company and really havent heard much bad about them stong rods as well)

Pretty much you will want low compression pistons since unlike a n/a car with high compression low compression will make sure you dont detonate your engine under boost. and some other fancy stuff that might happen if you have too much high compression motor

Then you will probaly want to DIY again on the oil pan by attatching a feed line as well as a return line connection (to feed your turbo)

Besides that a good aftermarket oil pump might do you some good as well since you want to make sure your engine lasts so youll definately want more oil and stuff.....

You will want to take into consideration cooling factors how to allow your block to be cool and stay cool as long as possible so your block dose not overheat and warp along with your head

A good water pump will suffice

Well after that I would concentrate on obtaining stuff for the head

Cam,cam gears for better accurate timing

new performance capable valves and springs for the head so you know it will handle a load.

Then invest in some good gaskets to put the motor all together and stuff something that will handle a good boosting. stock might due. I don know if there is a Bseries head gasket like the D16y8 double gasket or is it Y7 well either way farther your pistons form the head less compression stuff like that. but definately put the time into researching this.

And id definately invest in a good turbo kit incl. intake manifold. id suggest something like a edelbrock turbo kit that comes with everythign but a good tune.

And thats another thing save up and research a god place to tune your car since youll need it.

But all this is something comming from a n/a kinda guy who is hesitant in boosting his own civic so yea i may hav eleft out somethign but i think i covered everything.

But i cannot stress enough do your research on every little thing even down to every nut and bolt you are getting.
