#59044 Well, today was spose to be a joyful day. Putting on teh lowering springs, and swappin over my LS meshies. Everything was going awesome until we lowered the car. The back was still at stock height while the front is just where I want it. PERFECT even. Well, the kicker is, we put the springs with the R on the rear and the F on the front, just like it should be. This is were we went wrong. So tomorrow before my date i have to play swapper! But at least the rims look good. I will get some pics once it all said and done. This is why I dont like just springs. Give me a coil over any day.

#59055 yea thats what happened. They were labeled wrong. While I was taking the front sets off the other guy grabbed the springs with the R's on them and installed them on the rear struts.

#59101 they definately have a different spring rate you can always tell front from rear if you cant compress them easily they are for the front and if you can they are for the rear I always test and make sure since this has also happened to me before but I caught it in time thankfully.....

#59102 That's due to the front being heavier cause the engine :thumb:

#59120 well, the springs on the back go on the front, and we put them on the shocks with out a spring compressor. the springs that went on the front just went ont with no problems. but we had to push down on the rear springs to get them on the rear shocks. which should have tipped us off, but we were in a hurry. all that does is make you mess crap up.

The car has a hella rake now. 2 inch gap in the back and tire to fender in the front. if it was a domestic it would look mean.

#59131 still didnt fix the problem by switching them arround. front and back both sit the same still. back might be a tad bit higher. Times to get some Ground Controls.

#59160 Man that sucks. Me and a friend had this problem on his EP3, except they where clubrsx springs. Back was always stock height.

#59184 Alot of people I know switch the front and back springs based on the sprng rates for a different ride feel and stiffness.....before you switch it around go drive some twisties and see how it handles....it might be easier to swing the rear out now.....hahahaha
