#57960 Here are some pics of my bone stock 2008 Scion xB. I'm getting some 18" rims this week and am gonna lower it with Toyota TRD springs. Also in the works is a JDM badge conversion (Toyota Corolla Rumion aerotourer badges), grilles for the front, and HIDs.

#57977 Dave at Motorcars Scion is trying to hook me up with 18" Toyota rims. They are a 5-star pattern, black with polished rim.

Yeah..I didn't notice that until after I bought it. The rear windows have more body above them than the front ones do. It does have that "chopped" look, almost like some of the old school hot rods you see people build. All I have left to do is tint the two front windows and get a grill kit for the front and externally, the car will be done. Now, onto the performance mods!! W00tini!

#57989 I love it, the only let down about it is the dash, I personally think IMO that it's a bit plain and simple... Boring in other words.

Can't wait to see it with the rims :thumb:

It is quite plain, but the material and construction is pretty decent. It looks much better in person, though. There are TONS of little pockets and storage bins on the dash, so lotsa places to stash smokes, cell phones, and other knick knacks. VERY practical. And everything is in the center, which makes it very easy to operate. Having the gear shifter and gauges in the middle seemed wierd at first, but I have grown to like it! :)

#58390 from what i have heared they are SLOW, BAD WIND RESISTENT, { AERODYNAMICS} and well as we all know look like a dam box, i wonder if they are faster then a stock d16z6 eg ?

Well...the first gen xB's ARE slow (but there are ways to fix that!), non-aerodynamic, and yes..they look like a DAMN box. But the vehicle wasn't made to be a S2K or M3 competitor. It is what it is. A trendy, boxy car that is made for fuel economy and customization. My 2nd gen xB has quite a few more balls. Toyota threw us the 2.4L engine from the tC and Camry, so now we have 158 HP to play with! MPG's were sacrificed, so instead of the low 30's, the xB averages in the mid 20's for mixed driving. Not a bad payoff, in my opinion. I'm not really sure how a 2AZ-FE engine and a d16z6 compare, but I'll say this..the new xB is definitely no slouch, especially with a manual tranny like I have! :thumb:
