General engine questions/issues that aren't specific to the other categories

#56567 My engine acts funny under 3000rpm. Not giving me full juice. When starting from standstill I have to give it quite much gas or else it will cough and jump a bit. Checked CEL end it blinks constant. I counted over hundred blinks before I gave up. I checked my ignition. It is on the white marker just 2 mm to the right of the red (D15B7). I think it is supposed to be on the red. Is there any way of checking my timing belt position with out removing the crank pulley? (It is stuck like h... tried 1,5m leverage with me on top.). What else should I be looking at? O2 sensor? Coil?

Help is much appretiated appritiated :)

#56577 Just checked my timing belt by going after the TDC on the crank shaft pulley (the one far to the right) and the top pulley (camshaft pulley?) And it seems to be perfect. Going to adjust the ignition so that it is perfect later this evening. This way I know that it is some sort of sensor, ignition (coil), of fuel pump? The sparkplug wires are brand new. Same with the sparkplugs, rotor and cap.

I can mention that about 2 months ago the ignition module failed and was replaced. Just saying incase this was caused by something.

Check the firing order.

#56619 Firing order is correct. Well, the plug wires are connected to the right places if that's what you mean.

#56648 you may not have been counting the CEL code right... it repeats the codes over and over is why it kept blinking. Check it again and look for the pauses, that's how you can tell it is starting a new code :thumb:
