#5157 Just get a good engine management system. ie: Hondata.
Making power safely all comes down to a good tune.

#5163 what turbo is it? The turbo you get should depend on your goals for the car. Do you want mid range or top end HP? How much WHP are you looking to get? And of course how much $$ are you willing to spend.

The most important part of going turbo is the planning, gotta get it right the first time so you don't spend more $$ in the long run :thumb:

#5192 there's a few you can go with...

Top mount is bling and shows off the turbo, but people only spend the bucks on a top mount manifold if they have a huge snail to show off. Then there's a ram horn, still expensive and overkill for your turbo.

For a small turbo like yours a log manifold would be good and save you some $$, or go even cheaper and use the proven HF manifold + adaptor plate :thumb:

I don't know much about that turbo, except that it is pretty small and should spool fast. You won't be making any big HP #'s over 200, though. Maybe in the 180 range? A good setup to run on a motor with stock internals :thumb:

Also, you mentioned Tial wastegate... that might be overkill as well. A turbo that size isn't going to push a lot of psi and continue to make power. I'd see what you can do with the internal wastegate, 7 lbs would be a good # with a stock motor.

#5193 yep yep thats what i plan on doing boosting to get around 200 hp with the smaller turbo and yea i dont plan on any big shows so I dont need the bling bling mani so I will look for a cheaper one for sure thanks for the info :D
