#45788 Just want to see whats everyones plans for your EG or for yourself for this spring. :thumb:

Im currently almost done saving up for my swap. I will probably be ordering it in like 2 or 3 weeks. Then im going to buy some of the maintance stuff such as t-belt,pump,tentioner,plugs,wires,dizzy cap etc....

Right now as we speak im also trying to get some Stanley EG6 headlights so i hope i get those as well.

As for my self i plan to lose 10lbs before the summer time and get a good shape because i decided that i might play semi-pro football. I played in high School and been going to the gym for the last 4 months so i think i will be in good shape by the time practice comes around.

What about everyone else?

I'll actually have time to enjoy driving :)
After this, I'm done modifying my EG for a while, and I'm not putting any more $ into my mustang either.
I will be driving my HX 500+ mi/wk so I might need to put some $ into it from time to time... I am going to do some body work & repaint it this summer if I have time.

I hate to say it, but as I get older my priorities change. I used to dump so much $$ into my car. Well now I have 2 bad ass cars and 1 practical one so I am set for a looong time. Time to invest & work on growing my business for the next few years. I'll still be wrenching on cars, just not dumping crazy $$$ into them :hehe:

#45853 get the Vitara build on the road and finish my 500 mile break-in. get rid of that hideous integra front end swap i did and go back to my sexy EG. (looking for parts if anyone has them). And finally get to enjoy all of the work i have done to bring this passion of my back from the dead.

non EG- gain 10lbs, almost there. move into my new home in Ferndale. find a nice g/f and enjoy the fact that i have been out of college for a year and i finally get to have fun.

#45857 one thing I forgot to mention is planning a 2008 Civic-EG meet.
The first 1/2 of summer is pretty much gone for me with getting married, but I'm thinking later in the summer seeing how many members we can get out here in OH :woot:

#45866 I live in Akron right now, will be moving about an hour west in 2-3 months to the middle of nowhere, Litchfield, OH or Spencer, OH.

If we were going to do a meet, we would probably meet somewhere in a city, roll around as a caravan to a few spots for pics & food, then play it by ear and find some entertainment.. or maybe even head to the track :hehe:

I know Cbus is quite fun to drive around. 270 is one huge circle around it. There are some pretty mean records on getting from one point all the way around and back. Bit of an inconvenience but Norwalk (Summit Raceway) would be a fun track as well. I know La Rue in Marion county is an "ok" track to just fart around on. Nothing that would be concidered race worthy. Or at least it wasnt when i was down there.

#45878 Fuck, I'd drive down from Ontario to OH for a Civic-EG meet if I'm still here! Depends if I'm at the RCMP Training Academy or not

not too far actually... about 1.5 hr from where I live now, about 25-30 mins from where I'm moving to :woot:

There's also Dragway 42 in the area, Norwalk is usually booked for main events during summer weekends

We could try to arrange the meet on the same day as an auto-x event and meet on a Sunday morning, but for some people to be there at 8am they would have to leave their house at the ass crack of dawn. Plus auto-x isn't over till 3 or so in the afternoon and you're tired, hungry, thirsty & drenched in sweat after the long day & people would probably just want to take a nap.
