Hi my name is Damon I prefer Nomad.. I am purchasing a 92 Hatch with a GSR engine already swapped in.
Looks to have a lot of mods, but sure does need some tlc.
Getting it for 2800$!!
First thing i plan to do is park it in my project car area(in front of the parents motor home).
Pull the motor, rebuild. Get some stronger internals. Then slap this thing that make my life worth living on it aka a turbo.
First honda, second project car.
I am 17, dad owns a machine shop. I make bank for a 17 y/o.
First car was a beater corsica, second car was a 87 BMW 325es. Which evenutally i swapped in a stroker that dyno'd at 210whp. I am guessing it really only had around 180. Sold that to a veedub guy. Made bank off it. Got $600 more then what i put into it. Total sale price was $3500
Looking for better mpg and still small car and still have performance. Note, I was getting around 16mpg with the bimmer.
Anyways, any suggestions on a good place to start with different turbo setups? I am looking for around 250-300whp. One thing i am really going to love is the effectiveness of 8500rpms!! lame bimmers can't go over 7k or you break a rocker arm.
Will get pictures when i purchase, waiting for the guy to put the head back on so i can drive it home..
