#340539 Hey guys, i am the one with the red turbo hatch. i am proud to announce that i will be selling the hatch and putting the motor into a better more unique project. My 1988 Civic Sedan DX.

This is where i will do my build thread.

The day i brought her home, had a bad ignition harness. bought the car for $200 DOLLARS!!!!

I then threw a set of super rare crx si wheels on it.. and got it alligned.

Swapped the headlights for a set apc glass housing headlights which I later traded for a set of black housing oem ones. And put crx bumper lights on and depo amber corners.

#340540 Plans for now are to find a better front bumper and hood. Then to start sanding and doing body work to prep for paint.

#340551 ^^ true, however Teal there is a story with this car.

my best friend had this car about 6 years ago. he had this and a e.g. coupe for his wife. well they ended in a divorce and he gave her the sedan because she needed a way to get about town to live and work. well, it died the next year and she refused to sell it back to my friend. he knew the issue and told me. so i found it on craigslist.

1. went to her house (she doesn't know who i am)
2. she wanted 500.
3. told her i would pay 5 for her to tow it to my house (60 miles away)
4. told her i would pay her 200 if i towed it today and did it my self.

so i replaced the ignition harness (had an extra in my tool bag.) and drove it home 5 minutes later. lol

#340695 WOOT WOOT :woot:

TWO PARTS IN ONE DAY. JUST PICKED UP A GLOVEBOX FROM A 91 EX SEDAN. SO IT HAS THE FELT INTERIOR, IN MINT CONDITION AND IT HAS THE LITTLE PUMP ON THE SIDE SO IT LOWERS ALL SLOW AND STUFF.

#340769 found out that the power window and lock conversion is fairly simple if i take the interior harness and doors from a donor.

there is a 91 ex at the local junkyard that is going to be my donor car.

then cruise control and black integer seats and the interior will be finished.

snag the front discs and the brake master cylinder off that ex sedan if they're still on it. that's the model with the 10.2" front disc and a 15/16th master cylinder!
nice snag for 200$, pretty jealous. i've always loved the 4th gen sedans.

#340780 Lolz I already have the front knuckles, the master cylinder and prop valve aren't there sadly enough. The suspension is the only thing on that doner sedan that isn't there.

#340799 Nice ef dude! I clicked the link you posted on Axix23 build haha

I say keep that bumper since you'll be scraping it on all kinds of stuff anyway :D

#340855 The lights are classic apc glass housing headlights, but I traded them for some black housing oem headlights. I want the 90-91 bumper because I can hide the intercooler when I do the swap.

The suspension is KYB AGX struts with progressive lowering springs.
