- Mon Apr 11, 2011 2:32 pm #249690 Ok im gonna be painting my ej1 soon an i was wondering if there's a good way in taking the molding out of the top of the roof and reusing it? If not how much are they and is it hard to replace it?

- Mon Apr 11, 2011 2:51 pm #249692 It slides forward, on little metal hooks attached to the roof. I'm pretty sure you need to remove your windshield trim to get room to slide the roof pieces forward. They are re-usable

wow should of known this before painting my car lol. i just used blue tape over them
