a few alarms on the garage itself that sounds off a set or two of train horns.

night vision cameras in the garage and a monitor next to your bed.

a coupe dobermans trained to kill hangin out in your garage.

TRESPASSERS WILL BE SHOT and BEWARE OF DOG sings everywhere.

and finally a nice 12 gauge pump beside your bed and a switch in your room that locks the doors to the garage so you can trap them sumbitches in there

#232179 yea i live in a pretty decent neighborhoods, the ones that have yard sales every saturday and shit. i currently dont take my car out now cuz im in the process of doing the registration stuff for my car. so right nows its jus sitting in my garage with no alarm and no cars in the way, but it doesnt have the steering wheel, ecu and main relay.

fine if they can still take my car with a detachable wheel, maybe i should come up with a detachable steering column lol. lets see them try now. :thumb:

#232250 Question when you have full coverage does it also consider the parts you put in it ie. Rims, tires, suspension, exhaust? Or does it just cover what they think the car is worth?

#232277 I had to give my insurance company a list of all the mods and cost of each and have receipts for it all. Then I pay extra per month for all of the mods/parts on the car.

#234082 so i was just brainstorming the other day and i was wondering what if u can install some type of hydraulic stand thats mounted under ur car, preferably near the front so the front wheel would lift just like the contruction vehicles have so they dont move when they pick up dirt and what not. I kno this would prevent ur car from being towed for sure. u can have a switch hooked up to it and jus jack up ur car when parked 8) it might look all weird when ppl would look at it. might be kinda heavy though :?

heres somewhat an example of what im talking about:
see that Leg sticking out? well jus imagine its under ur car and it expands downward instead of sideways.

what do yall think??

im trying to come up with new solutions to not get ur car jacked

anyone has rented a storage room and put their car in there? theres this storage room facility right outside my neighborhood and one right beside my work. im thinking it would be really convenient for me. i wonder how they cost though

Yea those storage facilities are good.. they cost from 35-100 a month depending on how big of a space you want or need and what company..., the thing with cars is they have to be insured while in there.. those facilities are usually gated and very secure police patrols and all..

#236527 sounds like it is pretty bad in the u.s for theft im kinda glad i live in england. i would say it is pretty good over here i leave my car open most nights and have done for 3 years and nothink has happend.

i would say by the sounds of it theres not much you can do but get a decent alarm and hope it works :thumb: or either sleep in ur car that way if it gets stolen u go with it

more cars will be stolen in Texas this year than all of Canada..

I live in the midwest and am noided as fuck. i could only imagine what it's like living somewhere in cali or texas.. its a damn shame.

since moving into my house and storing the hatchy in a locked garage instead of a wide open apt building lot has definitely allowed me to sleep a little easier at night.

You get the scatter odd car being stole here in newfie. But that is usually a drunk looking to hitch a ride or someone who is wacked on drugs.Although i heard of a car stolen on www.nlclassifieds.com the other day it was a 98-02 accord with tan leathers.Sedan... You wants a fuc*ing shotgun if you catch them you SHOULD be allowed to blow a limb off.My taking on it lol. Fu*k you thieves!!!!!! :x

Work you bunch of wlefare ridden crackheads feeding your habits instead of your 10 children lol

#236596 by what ive heard in nebraska you can shoot someone if they break into your house but you have to kill them and they have to land inside of your houses structure if you dont kill them your gonna get the shit sued out of you

and if its in the garage with no steering wheel id say turn the front wheels all the way to one side so if someone tries to move it it will just hit the wall or what ever it to the side of it
