I need help deciding what to do with my paint......... HELP

- Mon Sep 17, 2007 5:08 am #23312 so my hatch is white and paint is old/faded. im getting my hatch re-painted soon, im going with the stock white Im leaving the mirrors, handles and oem wing black. but im kinda in a delema (<sp?).......................

Should i leave the side skirts black also? and i kinda want to paint the top of my car black help me decide uhhhh.....

1.) White roof, white sideskirts

2.) White roof, black sideskirts

3.) Black roof, black sideskirts

4.) Black roof, white sideskirts


Im leaning towards #3...tell me what yall think

- Mon Sep 17, 2007 1:29 pm #23322 black side skirts would look better if you left the bottom of your bumpers unpainted like it came from the factory. Your rear bumper is painted all the way down to the bottom. The area where the plastic is textured lines up with the side skirts and is normally left as black plastic. The front bumper has the same lower area. I think if you are going to paint the whole bumper, the side skirts should match.
I like the black/plastic trim to match the side skirts though, so I'd want the bottom sections of the bumpers to be unpainted, along with the side skirts.

Im pretty sure im gonna leave the sideskirts black and have them paint the bottom sections of the bumpers black too so im pretty set on that now but still deciding on the roof

werd, and that way you wont have to worry about the side skits chipping from road debris
