I loved the speed, the looks and the comfort. But the lack of abs/airbags has made me wonder. If I had abs would it have made a difference? I wouldn't have went into full lock and flew off the road...It's a question that's been hounding me.

I know for a fact i'll be having another honda. I might get a new civic on finance, i'm just looking at what's on offer the now on the net.

I loved the EG to bits, everything about it made me happy every time I drove it, but it did have it's faults too.

I guess somewhere down the line I would have one for a toy, a bit of fun and a track day car...but not a daily drive, I travel the back roads and motorway a lot so I need the safety specs increased i think



For what it's worth, my 1994 EJ1 has four-wheel disc with ABS, and dual air-bags. All OEM. So there are "EG's" out there that have some of the newer safety equipment.

Glad you're OK man. I totalled a 200SX once in a deer accident--not fun.

My friend had a deer total his civic, we put it in the back of his uncles truck called the boys and ate good that night, it was in respect of his civic. THE DEER MUST BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
