#216409 So I am doing my build and would like some opinions.

Here is my build so far
B18A1
Leaving the head alone I think unless I consider a valvetrain package
Arp Headstuds
Arp Connecting Rod Bolts
Arp Flywheel Bolts
Arp Pressure Plate Bolts
Nippon Piston Rings
Hondata Map Sensor
Walbhoro Fuel Pump
650CC Injectors
Cometic HeadGasket
Gates Timing Belt
Ngk Plugs
Accel Wireset
Stage 3 Clutch
3 Inch Exhaust
T3/T4 turbo kit (14psi)

First I was wondering if I should do main bearing and rod bearings ? Second I was considering maybe doing rods and pistons ? Also if I use those injectors will they fit on the stock rail ?
Just curious as to what everyone's opinion is here

#216465 Well if it can hold for a year be fine. I have a B18B that is gonna get head work and the fancy stuff I want done to it. The car also will be tuned.

#216573 I was just curious cause I know a few ppl here in Co that run 12-14 tuned on the b18 of course. Just thought I may be missing something on parts for this temp build

#217474 So want to check a few things on here and figured I would use my B18 thread for it lol. First off when doing this swap do I need the integra tranny mount and bracket ? My next question is I am looking for an alternator to fit the b18a1 and my 94 civic so any thoughts on which one I could use with having to mess with harness or anything? Thanks again

#217476 Well if you want to push more than 8-10 psi then rods are a must. I think la pistons will work though. For the timing belt, I don't see the point in an aftermarket one, I think an OEM one will do.

#217531 stock rods will hold up just fine with a good tune. Ive seen plenty making close to 300 whp with stock rods.

#217655 Alright well I can assure it will be a good tune by a reputable tuner and I want to try for 300hp + on it. So right now I am kind of in the middle of wanting rods and pistons but at the same time I want to build the other B18 I have. One more question is for the swap do I need the integra trans mount and bracket ? Also what alternator do I need to run so I dont have to cut or anything plug and play type ?

#218298 yes you will need the teg mounts for the tranny.

For the alt, you get the odb1 b series alternator and Distributor.

I have no experience with eagle rods or srp pistons. Heard the rods are good though.

#218300 Thanks Greasedmonkey your a lot of help. I just want to make sure I am getting everything in order to swap. Even though out here snow is coming soon and wont be able to drive much then with it sadly.
