#210896 Since i swaped my z6 mani for the y8 mani it doesnt have outlets for the charcoal canister. I am wondering what my options are with it.

All you need is a vacuum line and an evap purge valve coming off the intake manifold. If you don't have an open port, you could try T'ing into a vacuum line off of the intake manifold.

If it is the canister or the evap purge valve you're looking for, you should be able to get them cheap at a junk yard.

I am pretty sure that the charcoal canisters have a limited lifespan. Something like 10 years? (I bet Suspendedhatch knows this) I never heard of one malfunctioning or going bad though.

The evap purge valve is gong to be a little more work to find, but I did a quick search:

Junkyard would be your best bet for that sensor.

#213664 what would be the problem of you did not connect that? From my understanding it traps fuel vapors, so if you do not connect, you'll be loosing fuel economy?

It causes brain damage which lead to JDM mods and ricification.
