#186733 My girlfriend's '94 Prelude - BB4, she just picked up, is having some brake light issues. Her tails come on, but when she taps her brakes, the light goes out.. while the other side works fine? :?

I need help asap. PM or email me..

#186738 I would buy a manual for the car and look at the wiring diagrams. Follow the wire colors on the tail lights and make sure that they are all correct. Also make sure that there are no cuts or shorts in the wires. Try switching the bulbs too and see if the problem moves to the other tail light.

#187001 The switch is a simple pin switch on the brake pedal. It has two or four wires if you have cruise control. But it's very unlikely that this is the problem. It's most likely a bulb as teal suggested. Make sure you have combo bulbs as well.

#187002 i cleaned the sockets, bought new bulbs (again, from a different store), and got it working.
