i took out the dash and unplugged the gauge cluster and checked the wires but still nothing.. i was working for awhile but its back and now it wont move...

help?

- Sat Sep 26, 2009 12:40 am #147467 maybe it is your harness... check the wiring if you replaced the VSS and the problem still exists. Or the junk yard VSS was bad too.

- Wed Jun 09, 2010 9:18 am #199413 check the harness that goes into your ecu... the wire for the speed sensor might not be in all the way or ripped, mine was. i think its yellow and in the middle plug.

- Tue Aug 03, 2010 1:00 am #207196 did you get it fixed ...my boy had the same problem and it was his plug it was soo corroded that he wasnt gettin any connection except late 3 beggining 4th then anything after 3200 it would cut out
