hid makes car idle low

but when iturn on my HID kit the car idles lower , noticeable diffrence in the idle , what could that be from ?

- Wed Sep 16, 2009 3:03 pm #144107 how much lower? A little bit (around 100 rpm or so) isn't unheard of on civics. Plus now you're powering 2 ballasts which your car's electrical system was never designed to do, so it may drop a little more than before.

- Wed Sep 16, 2009 7:41 pm #144246 I highly recommend using a relay harness for it, it will eliminate the strain on the factory harness.
