Here's the latest...
Had a few extra minutes at work so it was time to start stripping the paint off the rims.
Here's what I used. Got it at Checkers auto for $6/can.
Within minutes the rim looked like this. The paint was bubbling, and separating from the rim.
Let it do its thing for about 10 minutes and then I rinsed with water. This is how it looked after the first round of Aircraft stripper...
Did the whole process again and this is after round 2...
There's just a few spots left that I'll work out with sandpaper tomorrow.
Took this while I was going at the rims. Its a thunderstorm forming over the mountains. To give you some king of depth, the top of the mountain is 10,000 feet high.
