#126087 i have a STOCK d15b7 with 211,xxx miles 5spd

ok when my motor is cold after sitting 5+ hrs it runs like a champ, but runs really rich..

but after it warms up it loses all its power (its like drivin a sti for a week then gettin a geo metro and drivin)...i have to down shift to speed up,
and when i climb hills i can only go like 45-50mph...

and when i warm the car up and then turn it off then start it back up it bogs down(like goin to the store), when i hit the gas and the car goes nowhere, when it bogs down its like takin off at a light then shifting into 2nd then into 5th and slamming on the gas, its gets loud and you go nowhere, and when it warms up it idles real low like 100-200rpms, and i guess i have a warpped flywheel too...

and bout the gas mileage, im ave 250 highway miles on a full tank
which i should be ave almost 400 on the highway on a full tank
and when i make right turns my gas gauge goes down and when i turn left it goes up and when the gas gauge is on the red i fill it up and it only takes like 7 gallons to fill it, when its on the red line it should take almost 10-11 gallons to fill

i have replace the
air filter
fuel filter
plugs
plug wires
cap & rotor
iacv
the timing belt is almost a yr old
i change the oil every 3-5k miles

rite now i just wanna drive my car off a cliff
its really pissin me off :x

idk maybe someone has this same problem
or i always get stuck with buyin shitty ass cars

#126089 get a timing light and set your ignition timing to 16*btdc.

#126486 The gas thing sounds weird. Could just be a bad fuel float but maybe your fuel tank is full of crap.

#126630 well idk if this is noraml but when your car is on the "on" positon b4 you start it and you got all your dash lights, well i noticed my oil light was on.... is that normal??

and when i start the car the light stayes on for a 1sec or 2.. is that normal too??

my oil is full, and i know that the oil light is not good

maybe i have worn bearing(s), that could be the cause of my loss of power?? the oil is thick when its cold and when it warms up, it thins out, so more clearence between the rods and crank becomes bigger and loss of power... idk just a thought

i hope its not that, cause if it is im fucked :x

16*btdc????

16 degrees Before Top Dead Center. Retarding your timing.

As for the fuel gauge, mine is the same way (92 dx hatch). I can go from half tank to 3/4 with a sharp left turn, and back down to ~half tank with a good right turn. And I fill up roughly every 300 miles, which is usually 8.5 gallons.

Good luck to you :-)

But the clearance between rods, crank, bearings, even pistons on a high mileage motor, all decrease once the engine is up to operating temp as metal expands when it's hot.
Do some listening in your engine bay and see if you can hear any light knocking. I don't think that's the problem though.

try swapping the o2 sensor with a friend's civic and go for a drive. the sensor can start to go bad and cause the car to run crappy before it is bad enough to throw a CEL.
