so i tried replacing my reverse lights yesterday and the dont work. i dont know if they did before or not. but i checked my fuses and there all good. wires are in good shape nothing cut or frayed..... any suggestions

Check where the Connection on your Transmission. If its a 5speed D Series it will be on stick up on the top of the transmission next to the Starter and beside the Bottom Rad Hose. Make sure this harness is plugged in.

was your car always 5 speed? auto to manual swap require extending wires from the console to the transmission, a step that a lot of people say 'screw it, my car runs' and then forget about doing it.

On My B16 the Reverse Switch is on the Front of the Transmission, the Wire connects to the Engine Harness next to the Engine Stamp. Make sure this is there, When a Swap was done they might have forgotten to unplug this and it was ripped out of the harness. I have scene it done by friends.

you must not ever have to bust out some parallel parking in traffic... i'd def look into it....
