#104036 I heard they have a spray can of tint? Has any one used this stuff and how well does it look or how well did it turn out? thanks

#104044 there is paint that you can get, they sell it at hobby stores. I cant remember the name, but the cap on the can will be see through, the company makes a few colors including black, my friend did it on his grand am

#104045 it is made by VHT and called Nite Shades. I've used it before and it came out pretty good. Just be careful how many coats you put on or your tail lights won't be very visible in the day time.

#104084 i used transparent black on my corners on my lex and on the hatch it works nicely

#104113 3 coats was good. Yeah use paint thinner but not aircraft remover, that could melt the lights.

be sure to lightly scuff the lights so the paint will adhere too

#104146 I've used VHT Night Shade before, good stuff. I didn't do any prep work other than cleaning the hell out of them, then I sprayed on one thick ass coat (but not thick enough to run). Came out fantastic. :D

awwww,, wish i would of known this earlier, i messed mine up using aircraft remover... :x

#104183 ive done it to my rear lights and indicators and looks good imo, easy to do just make sure to do light coats at a time and use a nylon abrasive pad to make the plastic matte otherwise you may have adhesion problems. great value for money mod

#129333 Nite shades is some good stuff got it a couple years ago from Summit racing but I noticed my local Kragens carrys it now but in a smaller can...
Smoked my tall ights and my little brothers Lancer too..Yeah just be careful not to spray to much or there gonna be black instead of smoked!! :thumb:
