B18c Swap into my 92SI **SWAP IS DONE**

- Thu May 31, 2007 7:56 pm #9243 Plans have changed for my EG decided to go ahead and swap out my d16z6 for a Honda B18C GSR .. :woot:

What I ordered last week:

JDM B18C GSR 30kms
LSD 5-speed tranny
OBD1 ECU
Shift linkage
Axles
Motor mounts
XTD stage 3 clutch
XTD Racing 8lb flywheel

also need:

Skunk 2 pro series intake manifold
ITR headers
GSR timming belt
NGK Spark plug wires
NGK spark plugs

Here is the pics of my engine they send to me today

I expect the engine to be in sometime early next week so hopefully if my clutch and flywheel are also in the engine will be put in next weekend!

will post pics of the install and wiring so watch for updates :thumb:

yea i will I havent been on the forum latly been busy trying ot get everything straighten out.. I will definatly get pics and some DIY if anybody is interested..

- Thu Jun 07, 2007 11:38 am #10106 well the engine was supost to be in yesterday which it isnt.. and my clutch and flywheel havent come in so looks like the swap will be held off for another week :shock:

If the engine comes today or tommrow i may beable to get the timming belt on and get it cleaned up and ready to but in next week.. no sence of putting it in with out the new clutch and flywheel

the waiting begins.........
