#90238 dont know anyone off the top of my head up that way but i will have a quick look for ya and let you know.

with regards to prices... usually they will be as follows:

engine, box, ecu, etc, etc (everything needed for swap) = £600 ish
average labour charge from most garages to do the swap = £1000

to be honest, to put a B16a2 into an Esi is pretty simple... basic mechanical knowledge is needed and lots of time (not for the swap but to read up on how to do the swap)

Amen, as VTEC is already wired in. Try googling for garages local to you, I'm sure there are some in Yorkshire which specialise in Jap work.

Fuck the B16a, get the B16b. :thumb:

? No no, I got some quotes from Hond-R and garage786 to convert my EG3 which is much more work and 786 quoted 900 for two weeks work... Hond-R said they'd do it cheaper but we never got round to discussing a price as I gave up lol

#90327 i did say average... hond-r and garage786 can both do this swap in a day (if they wanted to) so the can afford to charge less because it wont take them as long as a lesser expirenced garage to do it.

£900 - £1000

not a massive difference really.

#90333 But for two weeks work.... cheap

As I said Hond-R never gave me a proper quote cos I gave up on the idea but I should imagine it would've been in the region of 750-800 and the EG3 swap is a LOT more work than in an ESi.

They'd probably do it for an ESi way cheaper than that even as they don't have to drop the fuel tank and replace the fuel lines etc
