- Fri Dec 19, 2008 6:22 am #84509 when i rev my engine to 1500rpms it does this weird pulsing thing were it goes from like 1400 to 1600 and back and forth up and down but when i rev it higher or lower it doesnt do it and it gets really anoying wen turning or driveing in parking lotts cuz the car lunges forword every half seconds and it makes the car really hard to control somone please help me

its has a prety rough idle? would that have somthing to do with it

Well my car did that once.
There's a screw you adjust to regulate bhow much air flow goes through the throttle body.
Its right on top of the throttle body. When I opened it too much it would do a pulsate when I would keep the pedal in at low rpm's. And it would also give me a rough idle.

You might want to check that screw. Make sure its not too open. Or check your fast idle control valve.

Also is your car throwing check engine light? If it is check the code.
