I decided to pull out the code since my civic throws a mil light once in a while... I have a messed up idle to I thought it was going to be related to that but it wasnt
... I have a code 1 for a d16z6.... the code is for the O2 sensor...
The o2 sensor is brand new... I have no clue what the problem is. When I did the motor swap.. I went from a d15z1(vx motor)... i swapped in the d16z6 motor.. so it went from a 5 wire o2 sensor to a 4 wire o2 sensor.... the reason why i thought this wouldnt be a problem is because When i bought the d16z6.... it came with its own motor harness... so all i did was swap in the new ecu.. (p28) and I bought an oem o2 sensor for a d16z6 that plugs directly into the motor's harness....
Did I do something wrong? I am running a test pipe and I just received my magnaflow catalytic converter.... I do not want to put the cat in if im throwing a o2 sensor code.... any ideas?
