#81800 well yesterday i picked up a front traction bar and rear lower control arms. not sure who made the control bar. it was bronze when i got it and i painted it red. and man does it ride nice. when i shift i have minamal nose drop when i shift. feels like a gocart. ill put the control arms on tomorrow and snap some shots. there sport jdm. gunmetal. very nice and good designe. next i need lowere strut bars and sway bars. hopeing to get it on a autocross corse next summer. any one have any sugestions on stiffing the body up. like welding in bars or any thing in that nature? :P love these new x-mas emoticons

#81810 Get decent sway bars, nothing will tighten the car up more. When I installed mine (standard Si / VTi front and whiteline 20mm out back) the handling was miles better and flatter before I even touched the springs.

For auto-x you might want to consider something a bit bigger, maybe 24mm front and 22mm adjustable back? Something like that might be better suited to a tighter course, you'll get much better responsiveness on the tighter courses :)

#81812 ya i will get some sway for sure. i heard i can use a stock gsr or ls rear sway bar. isint it like 20mm. im also going to put in the poly bushings to. im kinda focusing on the suspension right now. and the engine will go in later also. im hoping to get to the tracks soon. i just love my car. best thing i have had in a long time.

#81815 Yeah the integra bar is a 20mm if I remember right.

Poly throughout will certainly tighten it up a lot as well, the master kits are quite cheap as well considering the benefit you get from them, definitely something I'd reccomend if you want to hit the track more often. Something I need to look at before long as well as I'm running out of suspension mods that will make a difference given my goal...

I'd have a good shop about for sway bars. Ideally on auto-x you'll probably want something a bit stiffer and as balanced as possible. My setup does lift off oversteer a little bit which helps to point the front in, but at auto-x speeds you might want to try and get same size front and back thinking about it... I haven't checked out other makes of bar as yet, I know cusco do a 25mm rear bar, and eibach do a 25mm front definately. Something like that will probably see you handling extremely neutral on positive throttle with a bit of extra bite at the front when you back off.

As an OEM upgrade though, VTi / Si front bar and teg rear bar will do wonders for the handling and make it a lot better if you want a cheap upgrade :)

#81821 ya i would love to get that right now. but i know i wont be at the track every weekend. but doing the oem upgrade sounds nice. i mean anything is better than the cloths hanger lookin one i got. thing is so thin. sinece the few things like lowering it and the upper strut bars and the traction bar its like 100% better. dont feel like a corvett or anything but for a sedan its tight. ill look for the sway bars asap.

#81830 Integra rear sway is only 14mm. And you dont really want a bigger front sway bar than the stock 21mm. If it is too much bigger than the rear you will get understeer like a madman. Stick with the stock stuff untill you know what you need by driving the car as is in a few events. That will let you know what you really need. I have driven a ITR swapped Ek with no sway bars at all, just Buddy Club racing spec coil overs and it was very good. Got all the rotation I needed out of it and even beat the owner by a second.

I did suggest a rear upgrade that would match as well. I'm slightly regretting not getting some more cash together myself and getting bigger bars front and back as I like a responsive car... mine's good but it could be better.
