- Wed Nov 05, 2008 4:45 am #77277 i just traded my rims for some race seats and some other parts .. but i dont have brackets on the race seats .. but i have a set of dc integra seats .. and was wondering how i could swap the brackets or whole seat pan to make them work on my seats ... any help would be great thanks


i beleive they are these seats .. they look identical

- Wed Nov 05, 2008 2:33 pm #77308 well this si what i did i went out and bought a spare set of seat brackets from my local junk yard for my 92-95 hatch took out my passenger side seat since i dont normally carry passengers lol and then i measured how big a peice of sheet metal i needed you want a pretty decent thickness i think i got 1/4 but idk for sure then when i got both plates i drilled out the holes for the posts on one of the brackets and then had a buddy who did good welding since at the time i had no welder or experience weld the other bracket on the other side and just for more stability and safety i had him weld the other bracket on which ended up giving me a custom seat bracket and thusly i drilled the 4 holes for the race seat they where close to the rails but i centered it best i could and it ended up being the best thing ive done so far to my car besides getting the right ecu for the engine lol.

but thats how i did mine this would probaly be your best bet unless you get the aftermarket seat rails that bolt in to the car itself....
