- Wed Aug 13, 2008 10:33 am #65727 Right I have decided I'm gonna relocate my battery to clear out my engine bay a little more, wanna try and do this quick as have a show comming up in about 2 weeks.

I wanna know where others have put there and where people think it the best place for it.

I'm thinking of putting it in the boot as don't have time to build a bracket behind the front bumper, but am not sure what the best way of fixing it down will be.

Also am a bit of a noob when it come to car electrics (still learning) so what will I need to do this and how should I go about doing it???

Nice one thanks and I know the trunk but where abouts??? as I wanna try and keep weight distribution as even as possible, but also make sure that the battery isn't gonna move about or rattle

- Thu Aug 14, 2008 10:13 am #65884 I'm really not sure where exactly you can put it, but one of my friends did that on a 240sx and it went in the spare tire compartment. And about the rattle/moving issue, I'm sure it comes with a box/thing to enclose the battery itself.

I'm sorry my infos are quite blurry, I haven't done it but just leeting you know that there's a kit.
