#64626 go back to the people who fully serviced it and tell them..unless you serviced it yourself.

I do all my own servicing. did the cambelt too as it was 2 teeth out when I bought it!! :x car runs beautifully, im thinking it may be fuel but i have no idea where to start. the only other symptom is that its idle is a little high, say 1000rpm

#64853 Vacuum leak or overly advanced timing.

That or your throttle body isn't closing all the way. Is the cable adjustment too tight? Is your throttle body clogged with grease?

Sucess (partially) The throttle cable was very loose, I tightened it to what the book says (10-12mm deflection) and its a lot better!

#72297 i would still check the pregapped plugs since no matter what they are always off by a bit.

And my other idea includes
-check your clutch make sure its all bled and stuff like that you might not be fully disengageing it and that might cause said lurch

and check your rotor and cap for any cracks or other things such as that as well as your air filter for cleaness.....

#77795 OK the problem is STILL there (but now seems to be intermittent, unless im adapting my driving to compensate)

I have checked all the above, and still nothing, im wondering if there is a possibility that it could be the auto choke or somthing along those lines? as the car is fine from cold.

#128064 SOLVED!

I know this is a very old topic, but after months and months of changing parts, diagnostics and headscratching, it turned out to be a tiny leak in a bit of vac pipe... £1 later and its fixed... dear lord.
