#59573 well im not too familiar with the B-series engine yet since i havent had enough money to get one(very close now though) but yea with that kind of budget i would probaly do the following.....

change the intake for more air-flow

Definately first thing make it so you have a bolt and a bracket for that radiator its kinda held on by zipties it will definately be better in the end

DIY heatsheild alow for colder air intake which ='s better overall performance.

I think i see a a/c line on there near the intake id definately unbolt that from behind the battery and get them out of there then find yourself a eg w/o a/c and take the box behind the glovebox as well as the engine bay rubber behind the battery. then switch it with your heavy condenser peice and you got yourself a lighter car that dosent have something that is not in use and if you want to hide your wires for something you can go through that gromit type piece....

You could probally get your ecu chipped by a reputable company of coarse

For better cooling you could pop two fans on the teg radiator that you have in there.

it would help a little bit but get a vtec timer something good though not ebay junk. but yea this allows you to lower the rpm that your vtec will kick in at and if i researched right the C1 is Rpm hungry due to all the power being once you hit vtec.

and thats pretty much all I can think of its a nice car just needs some work done to it to make it greater but id definately get the radiator and the a/c stuff situated first before expensive mods just makes it cleaner and easier. and the first mod id get after that stuff is that ecu chip then the vtec controller and then the intake since C1 intakes are pretty good already though upgrading will increase some hp not alot though.

And if you dont already have rear disc id get them definately....since the true performance is within the cars handleing and braking power you can have the biggest baddest engine produceing monsterous hp and torque but if you dont have a good suspension its not looking good in handleing and if you dont have good stoping power your hitting a wall.....

btu thats just my 2cents there are many upgrades that you can get or do yourself to your car some that will help out a little such as the radiator being clamped down good(just for saftey sake) and some things that will improve many things such as weight reduction which allows you to feel more power since the cars engine is pulling less weight, accelleration, turning /cornering ability, and i think the last one can be fuel economy probaly there is another on but cant think of it right now....hope this is sort of informative for you
