Hello all. I've been having a nightmare of aproblem with my 94 honda civic B16a. It stopped reving past 4G rpm so i took it to the honda dealership. They told me to get a dizzy, so i did, and nothing was fixed. So I took it back (this for free) and they told me that the crank position sensor was not receiving a signal (04-1 code) and that I have a automatic transmission ecu in my 5 speed ( was also giving 19-2 code, auto lock up) on top of still getting the dizzy CEL. They recommended replacing the ECU with one meant for a 5speed...i can do this but I really don't want to fork out the cash if the ecu isn't the real problem. This happened out of no where and I haven't had big problems like this with the ecu before. Does it sound morelike the crank position sensor is gone or is this ecu just done for?
