#50287 Hello all! I found a cheap B18C4 engine full swap and so on. I read that it is similar to B18C1 engine in power. But i read to that it is slower than a B16A2. is that true? Becuse i will run much on track i want a light engine so i wonder if the B18C4 really is slower or i would go for another engine?
I cant afford a K20 engine so. But they that know, please tell me what engine i should get becuse i dont find any good answers anywhere. :eh:

#50292 It sounds like the engine code for a GSR from over seas somewhere. IT will be just like the GSR. which has more power than a B16a.

#50315 b16 = 1.6 liter

b18 = 1.8 liter

do the math.

B18C4 comes out of the UK 5 door Civic VTI-S, European version of the B18C1 engine

#50353 yes, i know that it is 1.8L in the B18C4, but u think i should buy the B18C4 or should i save some for a B18C5? The B18C5 is about 1200$ more expensive.
So what u guys think? should i buy the cheaper B18C4 now or save some for the B18C5? And if anyone know, why is the B18C5 more expensive? Except the power then :thumb:

#50375 If you just want it as a stock motor with some fun attached, save and get the B18c5. If you aare going to add more power then get the B18c4.

#50582 It can't be both similar to a B18C1 AND slower than a B16A2, seeing as how the B18C1 is faster than the B16A2.
