- Mon Mar 03, 2008 11:26 pm #44551 Hey all, I have a 2004 civic EP2 as my main car, and i have picked up a 1995 Civic lsi. Or project track car =)

I know my EP2 inside out, but i do not have a clue about the EG models, i'm looking for every1's knowledge to help me out please. It has civic lsi on the tailgate, when i enter then number plate into car recognition sites, it is coming up 1.6 Civic Esi, it has roughly 130k on the clock.

Can you please tell me my engine specs etc?

I dunno if Lsi and Esi are the same thing, how much power has it got as standard? I will be posting pic by pic stages once i get the ball rolling, due to get it in the next week.

- Tue Mar 04, 2008 2:54 am #44624 I dont think they are the same thing. If you put the Vin in and it says its a Esi, then Thats most likely what you have!

- Tue Mar 04, 2008 3:11 am #44632 Lsi has the d15b2 engine, no vtec, and is very slow chassis plate starts with JHMEG4

Esi has a d16 something and vtec and is a fair bit faster. Chassis plate starts with JHMEG5
