Steering wheel. I found it on a white EH9. I really like it. If anyone could shed some light on what brand it is or anything like that, It'd be much appreciated!

Center console poorly painted black. Will rock this until I get a tan one.

Also, leaving for Italy tomorrow, so no updates for a while. I'll be gone until the 21st, but I'll be browsing the forum while I'm there! :D

Grant GT Challenger series. I have the same one on my hatch, that WAS on my sedan. The EH's hub will slide right onto the EG, just might need an extention. Here's mine with horn button.

No problem! I love that wheel. It's super sturdy and feels good. Mine was a junkyard find as well and I'd buy it new again if I had to.

PS, you can get the horn button kits and extensions separate on amazon if you look.

Thanks! :D I don't even have it on the car yet and I already love it.

#347025 Also, what are my safety concerns with removing my current steering wheel w/airbag for this racing one? My parents are having concerns.

The old style airbags, AKA the one in your car, is known to be violent... like, nose breaking, face shattering violent, when it goes off. You are honestly safer with a good seatbelt with active pre-tensioners and good posture when you drive.

I've removed both of mine because having the airbag go off scares me more than not having one. I've exploded different year airbags when I worked at Honda, and the early ones can do some serious damage.

If you want to make sure it's the safest, get a brand new hub adapter and extension to where the steering wheel is comfortable in your hand when you sit fully buckled into the seat.

Edit: the newer hub adapters/extensions are generally designed to crumple when impacted in an accident.

also if you are gointt o buy a new hub adapter, spend the 20$ extra over the ebay ones and get a momo hub. ive had both, and the momo hub had far better quality. the ebay hub that came with my wheel i was able to bend using my bare hands.
also, sweet wheel, jealous of the awesome stuff your wrecker has lol.

This I agree with! The cheap ebay ones suck. For my sedan, I spent the $100 on an official Nardi hub adapter and the difference is huge.

If you still have the EH hub (the really short one) on the wheel, get this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CM ... UTF8&psc=1

I have it currently on my hatch and it's perfect. It's solid as a rock, bolts straight up to the Grant hub, comes with new bolts, and has the design that crumples when in an accident so as to minimize injury.

Mine had the horn hardware and button attached to it still, so i'm not sure what horn kit to get, but you can generally wire up a horn as any button you want, as all it does to sound the horn is ground the horn wire.

#347108 So I'm totally living it up here in Italy, and on the first 2 days I was here, I already saw 4 ferraris and 10 porsches. No lamborghinis yet Lol.
I also just ran into some money from selling things online, so there might be some goodies coming soon! :hehe:

It looks like someone welded on the splines to make it fit on the EH/EG? I'll post some pics when I get back to the states.
