Best turbo kit

- Fri Sep 23, 2011 11:43 pm #274074 So i parted out my piece together kit cuzz i wanted to a bigger turbo and a ramhorn manifold and other reason but im looking at kits what are some suggestons you guys offer i looked at full race but anyothers?

- Sat Sep 24, 2011 12:39 am #274088 what parts exactly? There are going to be alot of personal preferance with this. Some good companies I have used: TiAL, greddy, HKS, Turbosmart, just to name a few. It all depends on what part.

- Sat Sep 24, 2011 12:45 am #274092 All of my setups have been hand selected pieces, so I have no personal experience with a full out turn-key kit.

Drag kits seem to be fairly solid. There are just so many other kits out there....Greddy, HKS, RevHard, Drag, XS Engineering, etc.....

turbo
wastegate
blow off valve
intercooler piping
boost controller
turbo manifold
intake
bigger injectors
down pipe
255 fuel pump
engine management

...thats just a start. I suggest researching as much as possible before you go turbo.

Could i buy all the piping n stuff off of ebay n then buy a turbo from like precision, garrett, ext n slap it on the ebay piping?

I still have the clips though. Just not the injectors. Wats a good turbo?
