- Mon Aug 29, 2011 10:53 pm #269519 So i have a bone stock b18b1 ls swap in my 93 civic si hatchback.I want to peice together a turbo swap that i can use daily with 220-250 whp.

I got a jist or what i need

turbo
bov
wastegate
mani
downpipe
fmic
piping
clamps
etc
injectors(dsm 440-450?)
sandwich plate with oil lines


I dont want any hating but i want to build a turbo setup that is reliable enough for a daily driver and pound on it when a mustang fag pulls to me at the lights .. gt or v6 of course

I have been looking around but there are SOOOO many options.Between greddy/apexi/garret/tial/hks/jrc/ebay:P i just want to get together the cheapest good parts i can get and get the ball rolling

I can get a tubular manifold off ebay for like $100 to the door
hks bovs seem really cheap vs the tial or greddys.

Can someone share some of thier info to me,between past experiences and your buddies setups.Id appreciate and info you can pass along

- Tue Aug 30, 2011 4:30 am #269580 Intercoolers, Piping, and Manifolds will all come down to personal preference as they all perform pretty much the same. I personally prefer TiAL BOVs, TiAL or Turbosmart wastegates and for the turbo I would look for a stock one from an EVO.

to add to your list:

some type of engine management(Hondata, Crome, etc...)
better clutch
boost guage
wideband

- Tue Aug 30, 2011 1:24 pm #269599 i think im gonna run a act 6 puck with my stock flywheel.Boost/oil gauges.. My buddy told me my stock map can handle 10psi that evo turbo what is it t3/t4 flange.. The ebay manifold says 35 & 38 mm for the wastegate? wtf its either or isnt it? My idea is ebay for the mani/piping/joiners/clamps. Then tial bov/wg/and i was leaning toward a garrett t3t04e ?

Which ecu can i run? p28 chipped?
Chip my p75?
