#270310 i remember u said something about going k? i found a k24 out of an 04 acccord with 90k miles for only 350 bucks and it ran when it was in the car! i wish i had the money to scoop it up
By EJ1_MK
#270324 Yeah the biggest thing is that the heads on the K24 motors are different, I picked a full motor up and the head is a intake vtec only so I would need to convert it. Not hard cause its just the follower and cams. But for 350 that is a good deal.

#270339 doesnt seem too bad to do

#270404 its not just got to either locate all the parts or buy them new. Or just find another head that is true dual cam vtec. I have had to put my car on hold for now until I get some other things straighten out first.

#270406 yeah thats what i was thinking. i dont know what i wanna do motor wise with my coupe theres so many options! and ohh hope it straightens out for ya.

#270433 personally for a street car I would get a k20 put cams, intake manifold, and a tune and push close or even over 200hp. And it will all work its self out man nothing that I can't handle, just every part that I am looking at now is easy over 600 bucks each. that I need new tires lol

#270491 k20 sounds really nice! im just wonering if i should do suspension first? that way i know it would be able to handle the extra weight and all that. and ive always wanted to make the stance better

#270514 Any one that I have helped build a car I always tell them to do the undercarriage work first, brakes, suspension etc. that way you can do what ever you want with the motor and be able to handle what ever you might do. I always find it funny that there are people that boost the crap out of their car and do nothing to the brakes or suspension and then wonder why they can't hook up or slow down.

#270515 thts my thought too. how easy was it to do your rear disk swap? and you know of anyone useing yonaka 1 piece coilovers?
By EJ1_MK
#270544 It was really easy, just make sure to get the e-brake cable from a four door integra, the cables fit easier, and just check to make sure that everything is there. And I don't know anyone that runs those coil overs.

#270571 alrigt sounds good and i found them just lookin around online and they company said they have specialized in honda/acura since they started and there about the same price as ff1's. http://www.revlinecustoms.com/proddetai ... od=YMTC001

#270656 The spring rates seem odd to me with 12k front and 6 k rear not sure how that would ride, most should only be about 2k in between like 10k 8k or 12k 10k or 8k 6k something like that but have you found anyone on any site that might have run them yet?

#270659 im gonna look up reviews in a minute. if i dont hear anything good my first option was ff1's im making a custom rear lower tie bar with black iron piping and the l shaped tie rod end pieces if i can find them. might make upper stru bars too not sure yet.

#270714 FF1 are good for street use definitely. I don't know about track use, I have not heard or run into anyone yet that uses them for the track.
