#211664 alright. thinking about purchasing a set of OBX ITB's for my Ported GSR head.

how would i go about setting up IAC, MAP, and what not on ITB's?

and it looks like it comes with the OBX fuel rail not the standard type where i can mount the AEM FPR but like the HKS one where you would need and to mount it somewhere else.
but anyways. any one with experience with ITB's?

oh and i dont care what you think about OBX and their products. this isnt a discussion of weather or not they are quality or if i should spend my money else where cause in the real world i have bills to pay and not going to throw down 3K on some toda's or TWM's. but anyways thanks for your input!

#211686 Do you have a pic of them? The IAC will mount on one of the runners, the map idk i think you might have to run a vacuume block for it, you will have to run a universal fpr i would mount it some were close just so you dont have to spend alot on fuel lines, but you will also have to have a tps and i think that mounts on the end of the itb's butterflys linkage.

#211712 I see the fitting that would be for the map. But the iac will probally be under the itb's. How much are they asking for it. It looks like a nice set up.

#211717 Do you not have to take a vacuum off each throttle body into a little plenum and have the map sensor attached to that, to use a MAP sensor.

And as for IAC is it not just a fixed idle setting rather than being controlled, not to up on the OBX system so could be wrong.

#211728 they are asking 680 delivered to my front door Brand new.

as far as i know they are like the TODA's but a little bit more friendlier

theres a vaccum port on there. but as far as i know i dont know what it could be lol. my map sensor is on my Fire wall. so i guess it would be a vacuum line to there.

#211748 Map sensor can just be off any vaccuum source. IAVC, you can shut off when the car is tuned and not even deal with it. To keep it would just make cold starts a bit better. To ditch it, cold starts will mean starting it, and having to revv it for a min. so it doesn't die.

Oh and the FPR you have won't work with that fuel rail unless you want to drill it and tap holes for it to bolt. you'd need like and aeromotive, or fuel lab fpr.

i know about the fuel rail. i was adding that out there.

so as far as IAVC would S300 be able to block off?

i might just get an areomotive FPR since buddy has brand new one for like 80 bucks.

aight just making sure. is there anything else i should look for? my map is on my fire wall (from factory)

TPS sensor is included with this one with the adaptor plate (buying it off one of my buddies that didnt get to use these ITB's)

#211783 How much power gain will get out of these or are they like a aftermarket intake that just makes the motor breath better ??

#211801 I know suspenedhatch was saying something about the tuning with ITBs. I think it was something like Alpha N or some such. You can check with him and see what he says.

#211861 hmm i hope he chimes in lol or probably pm him one or the other

as far as power gain they said these give good mid range power. but thats what i read. i guess you could say it breathes better? i dunno this is my first time with ITB's. i was also told id lose low end but make nice top end? i dont know but i do know i kinda want to try it and see what will happen.

as far as being an intake. its and intake manfiold with out the plenum but with 4 throttle bodies.

no need for intake i guess since theres no plenum. but you can mod a plenum for it.
