I vote stay away from zoom clutches i got one for my jeep was suppost to be this great clutch with cryogenic treated fly wheel and it lasted 5000-10 000Km's and 6 months. and they said was only 90day warranty. i'm still fighting with them over it. and the fact was i only put it in because i put in a new trans. so i put in my old oem jeep clutch that had 180 000km's on it and i'm still running on that. being i couldn't afford to buy another good name brand one!!

correct me if im wrong but..

im pretty sure that the main differences between clutches is how hard they bite/engage, how much power they can hold before they slip, and how long they will last.
a 4 puck stage 5 clutch can hold X amount of power but isn't intended for street use because it engages so hard and chatters.
where i am running a clutchmasters fx300, 110% increase in holding capacity and it has in no way made my car slower and is completely streetable. clutches dont make power they transfer it to the trans...

Exactly.

I had a crapy XTD stage4 6-puck unsprung on a mini-me set up for months before i turbo'd it. The clutch isn't going to slow you down.

Upgrade since you'll already be there. You'll kick your self 1 for having to take the trans back out, and 2 for having to buy a SECOND clutch, when you could have just bought one in the first place.

#207297 Get an XTD stage 2. will be about 10 more bucks then the stage 1 kit. I have the XTD stage 3 6puck sprung. it's very driveable daily with a 7 pound flywheel no very very slight chatter if you ride the clutch, grabs awesome. .. didnt slow me down one bit. if anyhting made my acceleration faster... Ask Ej1 Danny 8) .. mines is a lil stiffer then normal bcuz i have the omni power quik clutch master cylinder.. :thumb:

Sooooooooo id say like most said on here except for that one guy. to last and hold and perform BETTER, get a clutch other than oem. you wont have to do the job twice!!. think smart.. it also depends on how much you are trying to spend and ALWAYS proper breaking in of the clutch!!!
