my z6 build is gonna be almost the same
im gonna use all bisimoto parts for the head
lvl 2 cam
his cam gear
springs, retainers, valves
a 3 angle valve job
im prob gonna have bisi himself port and poslish my head

and for the block im gonna go wit the low compression kit
and gonna get either a Greddy turbo kit or a Edelbrock turbo kit, there like the only 2 CARB legal kits.. danm cali :x

and the z6 or y8's are the best

ah ur going forced induction..your build consists of pure bisimoto parts :D
......well since im going NA this my build plan
-bisi level 2 cams(decided since you posted up the gains from each cam)
-skunk2 cam gear(if it fits)
-springs,valve,retainers
should i get the head ported and polished?

For the block the high compression kit from fjdistributors
-what rods would you recomend to go with p29

and for the rest of mods
-skunk2 intake manifold
-DC sport 4-2-1 1peice header
-aem v2 or password jdm whale penis intake
-and my Greddy evo2 exhaust w/ 2.5in piping

i think im forgeting somethings...would i need a tune after everything done?

the stock z6 rods are good, you can get a set of forged rods off FJdist.
ya you want to port and polish, ive herd of good hp gains off just porting it..but thats all on you

and as for the intake since your in cali id go wit AEM due to the damn laws
and yes you should get a tune.

and ya im goin boost, im gonna track my sedan
and if the cash is rite when i get outta school i'll buy another sedan and do a all motor z6 for the dd :thumb:

make sure you torque everything to spec

That is becasue it comes factory with a ''handcuff'' after 4th gear. When the b-series guys use a handcuff it replaces 5th gear, which doesn't make street/highway driving so great. The handcuff is used so the gears can't spread apart and chew them selves up. Other advantage it you get a half shaft. That 5th gear on the outside also makes it so you can use the old accord 5ths, makes freeway driving AMAZING haha. plus it has the shortest gear ratio out of all d-series trannies, which means it has the best acceleration. Something to think about :)

ya keep the cat, the evap canister, all that stuff
ya torque wreches arent too much, i got one at harbor frieght for 20 bucks

and i believe they tune off the ecu, not 100% sure there

you read my mind about getting that stuff off harbor....them tuning the ecu wouldnt that affect emission tho.?
