b16 sirII, b18c1, or h22 ??????

- Sun Feb 07, 2010 4:30 pm #173902 Ive also been considering the h23, I got a friend selling an engine and tranny for 400.00. Couldnt go faster for cheaper. I kinda look at the h23 compared to the h22, just the b18ls motor compared to the gsr motor. Ive heard many people satisfied with their ls swap. Well the h23 is just like that but with way more torque. VTEC is a nice thing to have, but its not what honda's revolve around. It would just be nice to get an outside opinion on this. :thumb:

a b20z with a b16 transmission will accerate faster then a b16, or a b18c.

You will be happy with a b16 for a while, the love goes away. I would rather have a non-vtec b20z matched to my b16 tranny then my b16. [/u]
