my mate had a civic EK (hatch) , and he is selling his suspension (springs and struts), will these go onto my EG (hatch)???

- Mon Nov 30, 2009 7:21 am #159052 According to what I have read you can swap struts between eg's and ek's. Sounds like a little modding needs to be done though.

Yes, the rear lower shock mount bushing is different. I believe the EG is wider so you may have to press out the bushing and replace it with an EK. Some people use washers to take upthe space instead when going from the wider to the narrower, unfortunately you can't do that when going from narrow to wide.

- Mon Nov 30, 2009 8:28 am #159064 yeah u can the fronts will fit no problem but the rears u either have to change the bushings or i did mines the ghetto way and made the strut mount wider that was on my old eg tho
